Keep A Child Alive is an urgent response to the AIDS pandemic ravaging Africa.
With over 28 million already dead, the disease continues wiping out whole societies,
threatening economic infrastructure and creating tragic devastation in the family
structure. KCA is a widely successful and influential US based charity that offers
people the opportunity to provide lifesaving antiretroviral medicine and support
services directly to children and families with HIV/AIDS in some of the world's
poorest countries. KCA is supported by some of the worlds most famous and
talented people, including Iman, Jessica Alba and Alicia Keys. When Alicia toured
the UK in the week of 25th February she aimed to start a virus to end a virus,
by introducing the KCA text 'ALIVE' to 82540 Campaign. This activity is KCA's
first UK focused campaign. Alicia Keys states: "I am so proud to launch our
organization in the UK. We know that the UK understands the AIDS pandemic and
will be happy to discover a simple, non bureaucratic way to get help to the children
and families in desperate circumstances in Africa that we serve. Please join me
in the fight". For more information visit Keep
