So i was at school, and i was hella nervous, finally it was 3.30 pm, so i could leave damn school to go to home and than to go to Alicia Keys.
So we were there at like 4.45 pm, and i met nlalicia and her friend. And we went inside the theatre, and suddenly i heard Alicia singin! so i was like omg, alicia is doing her soundcheck there!!i was freakin out! But the woman in the theatre told us to wait outside.
So we did, and we were waiting there for like 30 minuts, when a guy waved at us, so we walked to him, and he told us that Alicia was coming here very soon!so i was like, no way she's inside! i heard her sing! so i asked him howl long it would take till Aliica would arrive and he said like 30 minuts. so we were waiting there, when a van arrived, and i looked in it and i saw Alicia!!! she was sleepin or somethin, cuz she looked pretty tired, so she came out of the van, and said hey guys! and she walked to me and my friend, i shaked her hand, she said "hey your cold!", and she signed my cd and than i gaved her the scrapbook!!!!!! she was like wow! this is so cool! And she was pointing at my shirt, and she said wow! look at your shirt it's so cool! and i opend my coat to show it better, after that we all got on a photo with her!!! (photo soon available!)
Man this was the best moment of my life!! i'm tellin ya!
The show was awesome!!! she started with 'rock wit u', than 'how come you don't call me', and she even song 'why do i feel so sad'! i was so happy, cuz man i'm feelin that song u know! During the show, she looked at me for many times! and she was so cool, she also gaved me a smile-back (is that a word????) for 2 times!!!!!!!! i guess she reconized me as the girl with the coola t-shirt!!!
The performance was great, great great!!
So after 'girlfriend', she introduced us to her whole band, and after that she got offstage, so the whole croud was sreaming, we want more! we want more!! and one of her backvocals told us to scream her name, so we did Alicia Keys! Alicia Keys!! and she camed back, she singed 'killing me softly' and 'why do i feel so sad'? And than she told to her band to leave, cus she wanted a moment alone with us. She started to play a song, and she was singing 'i'm gonna sing this song, cuz it's my favourit song'
So she started to play 'Someday we'll be free' by Donnie Hathaway! (i was thinkin about you miss hathaway, while she was singin it)
So than she was done, and she got offstage.
Man this was truly the best night of my life! I met Alicia Keys and i saw her performing + she signed my cd and i got a photo with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And about the fact 'Alicia tall?' lol, i was taller! when i was standing next to her on the photo i senced that's she was pretty small, but who cares!!
I met her for cryin out loud!!!
9 November 2001, was a day i'll never forget.
